·      Battle of the Books

Fourth and fifth graders may join Battle of the Books – a lunchtime activity.  Students choose and read books from the Battle of the Books booklist.  Meetings are during lunchtime to discuss the books and play games to learn about the books and authors.  The “Battle” is a culminating team competition held in May.

·      Fifth Grade Leadership

Fifth graders are invited to apply and participate in Fifth Grade Leadership, a program led by the Principal.  Students who model good citizenship are chosen to participate.  Our Fifth Grade Leaders choose and promote school spirit days, announce WOW ticket winners to the school and assist with other school activities.

·
